Suren Gupta

Suren Gupta is president of Allstate Protection Products and Enterprise Services, leading Allstate's Protection Services Group, Identity Protection, Health & Benefits, Avail, real estate and sourcing and procurement solutions. He is advancing Allstate's transformation strategy to broaden protection offerings for customers. In more than a decade at the company, he's brought innovative technology and business leadership to the enterprise. He played an integral role in expanding operations internationally, establishing Allstate's corporate venture capital group, changing the way Allstate builds and delivers technology to be more agile and helping to introduce digital transformation to its businesses.

Before joining Allstate, Gupta was group executive vice president and chief information officer for Wells Fargo Bank. Prior to that, he was a founding member and head of technology, operations and international business for the mobile data company Airclic.

Gupta received an honorary degree of Doctor of Science from Ulster University in Northern Ireland, where Allstate is a major employer. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He also received an MBA from George Mason University and a master's degree in computer engineering from West Virginia University. Gupta is a member of the board of directors of Zions Bancorporation. He also serves on the Chicago Public Library Foundation board and on the board of Pratham U.S.A., the American chapter for Pratham, which provides preschool education to underprivileged children in India.
