Chris Lown is executive vice president and chief financial officer. Lown has primary responsibility for the management of the company's overall financial condition, system of internal controls, capital allocation, financial reporting, investor relations, acquisitions and divestitures, capital market transactions, discontinued operations and data and analytics.

With more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in finance and capital markets, Lown has led organizations through growth, transformation and complex market environments. Before joining Allstate in 2026, he served as chief financial officer of CoStar Group, where he led finance, investor relations, business development and facilities. He previously served as chief financial officer at Freddie Mac and Navient Corporation, following senior finance roles at Morgan Stanley and UBS.

Lown earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Lynchburg.
