Supplier Inclusion FAQs

To be recognized as a small business supplier, does my company need to be certified?

No. A supplier will be recognized as a small business if it is either certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (U.S. SBA) or it is determined to meet U.S. SBA industry size standards through our supplier data enrichment process.

To be recognized as a diverse supplier, does my company need to be certified?

Yes. To be considered a diverse supplier, a company must be certified by one of the following third parties. Allstate does not accept self-certification. We encourage you to obtain certification from one of the following third parties.

Does certification guarantee that Allstate will conduct business with my company?

No. Certification does not guarantee that Allstate will conduct business with your company, nor does it guarantee your participation in the competitive bidding process.

Can I do business with Allstate if I am not a small business or a certified diverse supplier?

Yes. Allstate provides equal opportunity to suppliers and does not discriminate in the competitive bidding process.
