Key Experience and Qualifications

Financial Services: Tenure on MetLife's Executive Group for almost a decade provided deep knowledge and understanding of financial services and insurance industries, including strategy, portfolio management, P&L oversight, underwriting and pricing, distribution, product manufacturing, investment management, risk management, marketing and customer centricity, technology and operations, human capital management, and stakeholder and regulatory relations.

Accounting and Finance: Deep understanding of financial statements, as she oversaw the P&Ls of several businesses and led the integration of MetLife's $16.4 billion acquisition of American Life Insurance Co.

Technology and/or Cybersecurity: Gained through her role as Head of Global Technology and Operations, where she oversaw a $1.6 billion technology portfolio and $2.7 billion procurement/occupancy spend. During her tenure, Technology expanded global platforms, increased IT infrastructure capacity by 30% and expanded cyber and risk management while optimizing tech spend.

Global Perspective: Gained through senior leadership roles, including when she expanded MetLife's Global Employee Benefits business to more than 40 countries by broadening relationships and driving growth through local solutions, partnerships with multinational corporations, and distribution relationships with financial institutions.

Complex, Highly Regulated Businesses: Brings valuable strategic, operational and industry experience from her 33-year career with MetLife, including from her roles as Audit Committee Chair and U.S. Business Leader of MetLife's personal lines Property & Casualty business.

Innovation and Customer Focus: Acquired through her business roles and interim Chief Marketing Officer position with MetLife, where she expanded product offerings, improved Net Promoter Score rankings, launched a global marketing research function and oversaw a refreshed corporate responsibility strategy.
