Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

How should I update my information, and who should I contact if I have additional questions?

To update your prospective supplier profile in our database, you must complete the entire Prospective Supplier Engagement Form again, even if only minor changes are made.

To be recognized as a diverse supplier, does my company need to be certified?

Diverse suppliers are at least 51-percent owned by minorities, women, veterans, people with disabilities or LGBTQ+ persons.

A company must provide certification by one of the following organizations listed on the Supplier Diversity page to be eligible for our supplier diversity program . Allstate will also accept certification from local, state or federal government agencies. Allstate does not accept self-certification. We encourage you to obtain certification from one of these councils or agencies.

Does certification guarantee that business will be conducted with my company?

No, certification will enable us to properly determine diversity status but is not to be considered as a guarantee of conducting business with Allstate.
